The Unified File Browser
Open the file browser by clicking Files in the left sidebar. The left panel lists every connected storage source as a separate tree:- Aflux Storage — files uploaded directly to Aflux, hosted on GDPR-compliant EU infrastructure
- Google Drive — your Drive folders and files, accessed via the OAuth connection you configured in Settings → Integrations
- OneDrive (coming soon) — Microsoft OneDrive, available after connecting your Microsoft account
- Dropbox (coming soon) — Dropbox Business or personal, available after authorizing access
Aflux does not copy or duplicate files from external providers into your Aflux Storage quota. Files accessed from Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox count against your provider’s own storage — not your Aflux quota.
Browsing Connected Cloud Storage
Google Drive
After connecting Google Drive in Settings → Integrations → Google Drive, your entire Drive hierarchy is browsable inside Aflux. Navigate to any folder, preview supported file types, and select files to use in any module. Changes you make to file organization in Google Drive are reflected in Aflux on the next folder refresh (click the ↻ icon to refresh).OneDrive and Dropbox (Coming Soon)
OneDrive and Dropbox integration follow the same pattern as Google Drive — connect once in Settings and browse your full folder structure from within Aflux. Watch the integrations page for availability updates.Uploading Files to Internal Storage
To upload a file to Aflux Storage:1
Open the file browser
Click Files in the left sidebar and select Aflux Storage from the source panel.
2
Navigate to a folder
Open or create the folder where you want the file to live, or stay at the root level.
3
Upload the file
Click Upload in the toolbar, then select files from your computer. You can upload multiple files at once. Drag-and-drop onto the file browser grid also works.
4
Confirm the upload
A progress bar appears for each file. Once complete, files appear in the grid immediately and are available across all modules.
Plan Limits and Storage Quotas
File size limits and total storage quotas vary by plan. Keep the following limits in mind when uploading large documents or managing a high-volume account:Using Files Across Modules
Once a file is in the browser — whether in Aflux Storage or a connected provider — you can use it directly in any module without re-uploading.Bulk Email
Attach files as email attachments or embed links to cloud-stored assets when building a campaign in the drag-and-drop editor.
E-Signature
Select a PDF from Aflux Storage or Google Drive as the document to send for signing. Only PDF files are supported for signature workflows.
QR Codes
Link a QR code directly to a file in Aflux Storage or a connected cloud provider. The QR code resolves to a shareable URL for that file.
Organizing with Folders
You can create folders inside Aflux Storage to keep documents organized by project, client, or module:- Create a folder — Click New Folder in the toolbar, enter a name, and press Enter.
- Move files — Right-click any file and select Move to, then pick the target folder.
- Rename or delete — Right-click any file or folder for rename and delete options.
Supported File Formats
Not all file types are supported in every context. Use the table below as a quick reference:If you need to sign a document that is currently in DOCX or another format, convert it to PDF before uploading it to Aflux. Most word processors export to PDF natively.
